Course requirements

Applicants must meet one of the official entry routes to ensure they are prepared for the advanced demands of Level 8 study in disaster management.

  • A Level 7 diploma or a master’s degree in a relevant subject area such as disaster management, emergency management, public administration, environmental science, engineering, or a related field

  • Alternatively, a minimum of 8 years of verifiable experience in a relevant field, supported by documentation such as employment records or letters of recommendation

Assessments

Assessment is mandatory and is conducted through Approved Training Centres. Learners must successfully complete all required assessment components, including the research project, to achieve the qualification.
